Employers will have the flexibility to choose the training they need. Trainees must take a minimum of 21 hours. Courses can be combined to reach this minimum.
What are the benefits of using this program?
The program streamlines the Canada-Alberta Job Grant process. Forms are now online, and you will not need to wait for the Alberta government to review and approve your application for training.
Unlike the current Canada-Alberta Job Grant, under this program an up-front financial commitment will not be required; CHBA – Alberta will register your trainees and pay for the course, invoicing you after registration for only your one-third share (plus a small admin fee). The other two-thirds will be covered by the Canada-Alberta Job Grant, which is funded by the Government of Canada.
